Track your trading discipline, not just your P&L
Your P&L tells you what happened. It doesn't tell you whether you earned it. A trader who waited for their full setup and risked 1% looks identical, on the equity curve, to a trader who jumped in on a hunch at 3% risk and got lucky. Both are green. Only one of them is building something repeatable.
Discipline is the variable that actually predicts whether you're still funded in a year. Most journals don't measure it at all.
Why win rate and P&L can't measure discipline
Results are noisy. A good process can lose money for a stretch through pure variance, and a bad process can win through pure luck. If the only number you're tracking is P&L, you can't tell which one you're looking at — and that's exactly the moment traders start abandoning a working system or doubling down on a broken one, based on nothing but noise.
A real discipline tracker has to score the decision, separately from how the market happened to resolve it.
What a real discipline tracker measures
Execution, not outcome.
Did you follow your plan. Did you size correctly. Did you wait for confirmation instead of anticipating it. None of this cares whether the trade won.
Behaviour, tagged and separated from setups.
Revenge trading, FOMO entries, moving stops, oversizing, entering before confirmation, trading through high-impact news, boredom trades. These are what actually drain accounts, and they're invisible if all you're logging is entry and exit price.
Consistency over time, not a single good week.
One disciplined week proves nothing. A discipline score that holds up over a month, through both winning and losing stretches, is the actual signal.
Rest, counted as a decision.
Sitting out when there's no valid setup is discipline, not laziness. A tracker that only scores days you traded is measuring activity, not judgment.
How Trade Mastery scores discipline
Every trade is automatically scored from 0 to 100 and given a letter grade from A+ to F, based on stacked confluence, risk sizing, and whether you followed your own rules — never on profit or loss. A losing trade taken correctly can score A+. A winning trade taken badly is flagged as a warning, not celebrated.
Those daily scores build into a discipline trend you can watch move over weeks and months. Log a trade or log a no-trade day and your streak continues either way. Miss a day and it freezes instead of resetting to zero, giving you three days to backfill it. Ranks — Bronze through Diamond — are earned through sustained discipline and consistency, never through profit or trade volume.

Works for any trading style
None of this is specific to one methodology. Log your instrument, direction, session, risk-to-reward and result the same way regardless of how you trade. If you want your own vocabulary on top of that, you can add custom setup and behaviour tags from Settings for your own pattern analysis — the Discipline Score itself is deliberately kept tied to the built-in tags only, so it can't be quietly reshaped by whatever tags you happen to add.

Frequently asked questions
Does this only work for ICT or SMC trading?
No. The scoring and discipline tracking work for any trading style. You can also add your own custom setup and behaviour tags from Settings, so the tagging fits how you actually trade, not a fixed vocabulary.
Can a winning trade score badly?
Yes, deliberately. A winning trade taken at three times your normal risk, or entered on revenge after a loss, is flagged and scored down even though it made money. The score measures execution, not outcome.
What counts as good discipline if I don't trade every day?
Sitting out when there's no valid setup is scored as good discipline, not as inactivity. Log a no-trade day and your streak continues the same as if you'd traded.
Is this financial advice?
No. Trade Mastery is a journaling and self-analysis tool. It records trades you have already taken and reports patterns in your own data. It does not provide financial advice, recommendations, signals or predictions, and it will not make you profitable. Trading carries substantial risk and most retail traders lose money.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You keep your account, your trades, your streak and your discipline score. The AI coach, discipline analysis and pattern engine lock until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted.
